Qualcomm has launched three new processors for mid to high range smartphones – Snapdragon 665, Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 730G. Qualcomm says these three processors have been announced with improved features which include processing power, AI feature and improved gaming performance.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 665
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform processor comes loaded with outstanding gaming capacities, improved camera features, Smart AI and powerful performance.
The new Snapdragon 665 uses an Octa-core Kryo 460 CPU at up to 2 GHz and is built on an 11nm process. It has an Adreno 612 GPU and third-generation AI engine Hexagon 685 DSP (Digital Signal Processor) for better and improved performance.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 730
The Snapdragon 730 is the succeeder of the Snapdragon 710 and 712 processors.
The Snapdragon 730 is an octa-core processor based on an 8nm process. It is powered by eight Kryo 470 cores that can be clocked up to 2.2 GHz. It is paired with an Adreno 618 GPU with support for Vulkan 1.1. It can support up to 8GB RAM with speeds up to 1866 MHz.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G
The Snapdragon 730G is a gaming-focused variant of the 730 that offers faster graphics rendering, HDR gaming, and other performance-enhancing features.
